andynick turns up out of the blue with the one and only missing Xbox 360 Official Magazine (UK) issue 52 to complete preservation of this title. Yes indeed!! .... all 189 issues of this title are now available here. Amazing!! Fabulous work by everyone who scanned or provided issues to get this across the finish line!!

Computer Games: Strategy Plus issue 93 has also been added to the download section bringing our total to 123 issues out of 196 now preserved. We're getting there .....

The Cameron Files - Secret at Loch Ness Strategy & Solutions Guide for another adventure game has been added to the Game Guides section.

The Forever Worlds - Enter the Unknown Solution Guide has been added to the Game Guides section.

PlayStation Official Magazine (AUS) issues 107 - 110, 113 and 119 have been added to the pool thanks to Jason. Such a shame yet another local edition of a mag has gone the way of the Dodo!!

andynick provides us with the previously unavailable issue 182 of PC Gamer (UK). Awesome!!

Computer Games: Strategy Plus issue 99 has now been scanned and added to the download area. In this issue we have a review of Half-Life. Holy Cow!! I can't believe it's been THAT long!!

Looking at the pile left of these I have 12 issues left that need to be scanned!! That will give us 136 digitally preserved issues out of the 196 that were published unless I happen to find some stragglers in my basement although I am pretty sure I have none hiding down there any more.

Another game guide gets added to the download area in the form of the Auryn Quest Strategy & Solutions Guide based upon the Neverending Story.

@kitsunebi - If you ever happen to spot anything programming/game development related in one of your excellent Japanese scans could you let us know? Don't actively look of course, its just if you happen to come across anything Japanese information about console game development is rarer than gold.

Also it seems Archive.org has taken down many game and PC magazines recently due to DMCA takedown requests by "The Publishers Association", so if you have anything you have been meaning to download from there then now is the time.
I have had my crappy scans of Computer Arts/Web Designer/PSM2/PC Gamer UK taken down recently and I had to make sure I had local backups across multiple hard drives as I was using archive.org as a free backup solution.

It's good news in a way in that many of the magazines they uploaded of ours without permission will be removed, but not so good in terms of loosing other PC mags that are not covered by this site.

Three issues of PC Games (USA) have been added to the download section.

Gekkan PC Engine 55 is now available to download.

Short story behind this one: back when I used to frequent Retromags, I was contacted by someone interested in seeing the coverage of the PC Engine-exclusive Castlervania: Rondo of Blood in both this issue and the subsequent one who proposed a system where I would purchase both mags from an online shop in Japan and then they would reimburse me for the cost, since that would be far cheaper than shipping them to whatever country they lived in. I purchased both mags, but before asking them for reimbursement, I thought better of setting a precedent where other people might follow suit and inundate me with mags to scan on top of the hundreds I already had lying around in wait. So I never even told the guy I'd bought them...and now about a year and a half has passed. Dunno if that guy is still around, or if he's a member here or not, but here it (finally) is.

Also, hardcore fans of the film already know this, but until reading this issue, I had completely forgotten that Army of Darkness was released in Japan as...Captain Supermarket.

A new title has been added to the download section today with andynick submitting issue 03 of Control, a Super Nintendo centric title. I have several other issues of this from him that were scanned by Nipedley that will also be added shortly.....

The scan for Schizm: Mysterious Journeys II is well timed as the third game is going to be out soon.
